Sterling Cuff Bracelet - Anticlastic Wide Sterling Cuff - Concave Silver Bracelet Cuff

A go to sterling cuff bracelet which was formed by anticlastic raising technique which gives the lovely outward curves at the top and bottom of the cuff and is concave through the center. This classic wide cuff bracelet is made of heavy gauge sterling sheet which is hand forged and finished to a mirror polish. Timeless and elegant, this sterling silver cuff will be one you love forever. I have rounded the ends of the cuff and filed all edges for a smooth rounded look. If you wish this cuff to be oxidized (no additional charge), just use the drop down menu to select the oxidized finish!

This cuff is entirely hand wrought by me made with a technique called anticlastic raising. This hand forging technique is done using an anticlastic steel stake and hammered so the sterling forms to the shape of the stake. Starting with a flat piece of sheet, this is no easy task- the metal wants to straighten out and I want it to curve into a cuff. I then hand planish on the same stake, which means I hammer very lightly to smooth out all the hammer marks and any wrinkles from where the metal didn't quite want to form to the stake. Finally I polish to a mirror shine. All this makes for a nice springy metal which will hold it's shape well no matter how many times you take it off and put it on!

Your cuff will come boxed appropriately for gift giving. I include an organza drawstring storage pouch and a sunshine polishing cloth square.
